Soccer Recap: Justin-Siena Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. Helena last Friday, Justin-Siena came back down to earth. The Justin-Siena Braves might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Wood Wildcats an easy 6-1 win. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Braves couldn't quite close it out.

Justin-Siena now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Wood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Justin-Siena will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Napa at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Justin-Siena is facing Napa at the right time seeing as Napa is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Wood will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Concord at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
