Volleyball Recap: Vincent Memorial Comes Up Short

Vincent Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Calexico Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-12.

DANA LOPEZ was the offensive standout of the match as she had six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Vincent Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Calexico, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-13.

Looking ahead, Vincent Memorial will face off against Calipatria at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Calexico, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Rancho Bernardo on the 10th.
