Softball Game Preview: Bowling Green Bobcats vs. North Callaway Thunderbirds

The Bowling Green Bobcats are taking a road trip to square off against the North Callaway Thunderbirds at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bowling Green is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Clopton by a score of 13-10 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, North Callaway never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Mark Twain. Considering the Thunderbirds have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Bowling Green now has a winning record of 5-4. As for North Callaway, their victory bumped their record up to 19-10.

Bowling Green skirted past North Callaway 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
