Preview: Milton Hershey Spartans vs. Eastern York Golden Knights
The Milton Hershey Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eastern York Golden Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
On Saturday, Milton Hershey came up short against Susquehanna Township and fell 61-51. While losing is never fun, Milton Hershey can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 405th, while Susquehanna Township is ranked 41st).
Meanwhile, Eastern York also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Northeastern by a score of 45-38.
Milton Hershey's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-6. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Eastern York, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
