Canyon Hills's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 52-41 victory over the Kearny Komets. The win continues a trend for the Rattlers in their matchups with the Komets: they've now won five in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Canyon Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sophia Wilson, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 14 points. What's more, Wilson also racked up four assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Anayla Saulo was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

Canyon Hills' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points over those games. As for Kearny, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.

Looking ahead, Canyon Hills will take on Canyon Crest Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Canyon Hills is facing Canyon Crest Academy at the right time seeing as Canyon Crest Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Kearny, they will square off against Clairemont at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
