Basketball Recap: Tianna Lowe's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Enterprise over University Prep

Enterprise lost against University Prep back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Enterprise Hornets fell 57-48 to the University Prep Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while the Panthers are ranked 52nd).

Enterprise's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tianna Lowe, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Catherine Ahart, who posted 15 points and five rebounds.

Enterprise has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for University Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Enterprise wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-47 loss against Shasta on the 20th. As for University Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-37 victory against West Valley on the 21st.
