Basketball Game Preview: Redondo Union Sea Hawks vs. Hamilton Yankees

The Redondo Union Sea Hawks will head out to take on the Hamilton Yankees at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Redondo Union has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, Redondo Union was fully in charge, breezing past West 64-37. That's two games straight that the Sea Hawks have won by exactly 27 points.

Meanwhile, Hamilton entered their tilt with Westchester on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They snuck past the Comets with a 63-57 win.

Hamilton's win came from a few key players Redondo Union will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jade Fort, who went 9 of 16 en route to 26 points in addition to five boards and four steals. The game was her ninth in a row with at least ten points. Micah Lemons was another key player, going 6 for 9 on her way to 13 points and seven rebounds.

Hamilton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in 16 consecutive matchups.

Redondo Union's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Hamilton, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
