Recap: Bedford Bisons vs. Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Cambria, the Bedford Bisons were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over Bald Eagle Area.
Bedford found their leader in underclassman Rebekah Costal, who scored 15 points. Costal continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shannon Letrent, who scored 9 points.
The win got Bedford back to even at 2-2. As for Bald Eagle Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bedford will take on Bishop Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Bishop Carroll is ranked 104th, while Bedford is ranked 97th). As for Bald Eagle Area, they will be playing at home against Central Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
