Soccer Recap: Burroughs Comes Up Short

Burroughs lost against Pasadena back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Burroughs Bears fell just short of the Pasadena Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for the Bears seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Burroughs' defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-2 and their overall record down to 7-4-4. As for Pasadena, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burroughs will venture away from home to challenge Burbank at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pasadena, they will head out on the road to take on Muir at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
