Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Redwood Christian's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Redwood Christian had won two straight home games and Lilliana Faumuina did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Redwood Christian Eagles blew past the Fremont Christian Warriors, posting a 57-12 victory thanks in part to Faumuina, who posted 29 points. Those 29 points gave her a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Fremont Christian lost, don't look at Johanna So. Despite the final result, she scored six points.

Redwood Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.1 points per game. As for Fremont Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
