Baseball Recap: Dacula Takes a Loss

Mill Creek hit Dacula with a five-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons lost 11-1 to the Hawks. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dacula saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Draylen Milline, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Dacula's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Mill Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Dacula and Mill Creek should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Falcons (ranked 246th) will meet Mountain View (ranked 872nd) at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Mill Creek will face off against Discovery at 5:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (67 vs. 363).
