Recap: Hampton Talbots vs. Lincoln Park Performing Arts
The Hampton Talbots had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 61-51 to Lincoln Park Performing Arts on Friday.
Lincoln Park Performing Arts' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jla Kizart, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Scott, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Hampton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lincoln Park Performing Arts, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Hampton will take on Canon-McMillan at TBD on Saturday. As for Lincoln Park Performing Arts, they will be playing at home against Freedom Area on Saturday.
