Football Recap: West Morris Central Gets the Win + How To Watch

West Morris Central lost to Morris Knolls back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Wolfpack came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 41-31. The game was the first time the Wolfpack have beaten the Golden Eagles on their field since October 26, 2019.

Among those leading the charge was Brody Mansolino, who rushed for 67 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Despite the loss, Morris Knolls still got an impressive performance from Jaylin Jones, who rushed for 200 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries. Jones really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

West Morris Central has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 31.0 points this season. As for Morris Knolls, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, West Morris Central will take on Morristown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Morris Knolls, they will square off against Bridgewater-Raritan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
