While losing is never fun, Weatherly can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 635th, while Marian Catholic is ranked 137th).
MMI Preparatory School's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15. As for Weatherly, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13.
MMI Preparatory School came up short against Weatherly in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 45-33. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Weatherly's Bethany Houser, who scored 20 points along with seven steals.
