Diboll lost to Woodville on October 3rd, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lumberjacks.

Diboll was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (102-85), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 25-18, 9-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Diboll's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Woodville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 26-17.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Diboll is set to face off against their familiar foe Central Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Woodville will square off against rival Huntington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
