Basketball Game Preview: Hill Falcons vs. Gunderson Grizzlies

The Hill Falcons will venture away from home to challenge the Gunderson Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hill is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 59-58 victory over Yerba Buena.

Gunderson got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They secured a 38-34 W over James Lick on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Grizzlies as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Gunderson's victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-11. As for Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Everything went Hill's way against Gunderson in their previous meeting on January 14th, as Hill made off with a 37-15 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hill since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
