Basketball Recap: Friends Select Find Success

The Friends Select Falcons earned a 55-42 win over the Bodine Ambassadors on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Friends Select found their leader in sophomore Milan Trusty, who dropped a triple-double with 32 points, ten boards, and ten steals. April McClean was another key player, putting up ten points.

Despite the loss, Bodine still got an impressive performance from Ulani McKie, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Ajayla Warren, who earned eight points.

Friends Select's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bodine, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Friends Select wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 55-27 win against Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy on the 15th. As for Bodine, they have also already played their next game, a 68-25 loss against Imhotep Charter on the 15th.
