Basketball Game Preview: Brownstown Central Braves vs. Heritage Christian Eagles

The Brownstown Central Braves will square off against the Heritage Christian Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Brownstown Central comes in on nine and Heritage Christian on seven.

Brownstown Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past North Posey 46-25. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Heritage Christian earned a 50-41 win over Northeastern on Saturday.

Heritage Christian's win came from a few key players Brownstown Central will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Joslyn Marshall, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 22 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Taylor, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 17 boards.

Brownstown Central's victory bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Heritage Christian, their win bumped their record up to 14-12.

Brownstown Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Heritage Christian when the teams last played back in February of 2020, winning 54-42. Will Brownstown Central repeat their success, or does Heritage Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
