After a string of three wins, Methacton's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 44-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bensalem Fighting Owls. The match marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava Wolf, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 10 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Penny Wolf, who posted eight points.

Methacton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Bensalem, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

When Methacton and Bensalem next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Methacton will try to stop Perkiomen Valley's eight-game winning streak when the meet at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Methacton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Bensalem will try to stop Council Rock South's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
