Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crossings Christian). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Marietta Indians a 17-0 shutout on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won six in a row.

Crossings Christian now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Marietta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-22.

Crossings Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-0 defeat against Perry on the 2nd. Hopefully Marietta paid attention to the Knights' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Knights on Thursday.
