Football Recap: Canton-Galva Comes Up Short

Canton-Galva played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Central Plains Oilers and fell 58-8. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Canton-Galva is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Central Plains, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Central Plains is set to square off against their familiar foe Little River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Oilers 9.3, the Redskins 9.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
