Pinole Valley won the last time they faced Bethel and things went their way on Friday too. The Pinole Valley Spartans breezed past the Bethel Jaguars to the tune of 67-29. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Pinole Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Layla Butler, who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine boards. Butler continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Henriana Hudson, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 21 rebounds.

Pinole Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Pinole Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points over those games. As for Bethel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.
