Softball Recap: Cherokee Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cherokee can now relate to. They fell just short of the East Coweta Indians by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost seven in a row.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 21-14. As for East Coweta, their win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Indians beat Cherokee by a score of 2-1 later that day.
