Baseball Recap: St. Bede Comes Up Short

St. Bede was the 7-0 winner over Seneca when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruins fell just short of the Fighting Irish by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Bede's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Seneca, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-15.

Looking ahead, St. Bede will take on Midland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Timberwolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Bruins will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Seneca, they will square off against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
