Baseball Recap: Mt. Zion Takes a Loss

Mt. Zion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 9-2 to the Temple Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 10-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Temple, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Mt. Zion didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-3 defeat against Temple on the 22nd. As for Temple, they have also already played their next game, a 21-0 loss against Bowdon on the 20th.
