Baseball Recap: Wakefield School Takes a Loss

Wakefield School was the 8-5 winner over Washington-Liberty when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Fighting Owls fell just short of the Generals by a score of 4-2 on Friday. The Fighting Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wakefield School's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Washington-Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wakefield School will square off against McLean at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington-Liberty, they will venture away from home to face off against Langley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
