Softball Recap: Blackwell Drops Highest Score of Season Against Pawhuska

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Blackwell). They came out on top against the Pawhuska Huskies by a score of 12-7 on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Maroons with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Blackwell and bumps their season record up to 4-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Pawhuska, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blackwell will challenge Tonkawa at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pawhuska, they will take on Hominy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
