Baseball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant was the 4-3 winner over Cardinal when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets on Thursday.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cardinal, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Mt. Pleasant will square off against Clear Creek-Amana at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cardinal, they will face off against Davis County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Comets their first taste of in-conference action this season.
