Softball Recap: Edmund Burke Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Georgia School for Innovation & Classics on Monday, Edmund Burke Academy came back down to earth. The Spartans came up short against the Brentwood War Eagles on Tuesday, falling 11-0. Considering the last time the Spartans couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Edmund Burke Academy now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Brentwood, their victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Looking ahead, Edmund Burke Academy will venture away from home to square off against Burke County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brentwood, they will welcome Georgia Military College at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The War Eagles are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
