Souhegan waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Pelham Pythons 13-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-4 on May 1st.

Souhegan's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Pelham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Souhegan will venture away from home to square off against Hanover at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sabers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Marauders have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Pelham, they are taking a road trip to challenge Oyster River at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bobcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Pythons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
