Softball Recap: Mercy Monarchs vs. Omaha Central Eagles
Mercy had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 13-9 win over the Omaha Central Eagles on Tuesday. The Monarchs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Alexis Nuefind and Vanessa Burton did most of the damage at the plate: Nuefind went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Burton went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those two runs gave Nuefind a new career-high. AJ Ersland was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
