Softball Recap: Kingfisher Find Success + How To Watch

Kingfisher was handed a ten-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish 5-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 back in August.

The team relied heavily on Jancee Matthews, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Reese Roof, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Kingfisher's record now sits at 12-4. As for Bishop McGuinness, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Kingfisher does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop McGuinness, they will face off against Bethany at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bronchos' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Fighting Irish's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
