Baseball Game Preview: Peach County Trojans vs. Perry Panthers

The Peach County Trojans will square off against the Perry Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peach County will be strutting in after a victory while Perry will be coming in after a defeat.

Peach County is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against Chapel Hill on Saturday. The Trojans put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 11-2 win. Considering the Trojans have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Perry came up short against Houston County on Friday and fell 8-4. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Peach County, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 5-2.

Peach County came out on top in a nail-biter against Perry in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, sneaking past 11-9. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
