Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Unity Christian Lions. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Lions two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-21, 26-24.

McKenna Blaudow paced Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's offense, picking up nine kills. Blaudow got some help from Annabelle Vanausdoll and her 13 assists. Finally, Savannah Butcher kept Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's record is now 23-9. As for Unity Christian, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 24-8.
