The Unity Christian Lions volleyball squad (Decatur, IL), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights (Arthur, IL)

The Knights (24-9) will now prepare for their contest against Arcola (Arcola, IL). The Purple Riders enter the Lincoln Prairie contest with a 4-21 record. In their last contest, Arcola was tipped by Heritage (Broadlands, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh Titans (Oakland, IL) in a contest, on Thursday, October 23. Unity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 24-8 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 10-17 record after their 2-0 league loss to Cumberland (Toledo, IL).
