Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Unity Christian Lions (Decatur, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rockets (18-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Senators enter the Central State Eight challenge with a 18-4 record. In their last challenge, Springfield beat Tri-City (Buffalo, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the Heritage Hawks (Broadlands, IL) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 6. Unity Christian will attempt to improve on its 19-6 season record.
