The Villa Grove Blue Devils volleyball squad (Villa Grove, IL), was defeated 2-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Unity Christian Lions (Decatur, IL)

With the win, Unity Christian improves its record to 13-3 on the season. The Lions host Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL) to encounter the Timberwolves in a Lincoln Prairie battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Timberwolves go into the battle with a record of 1-6.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Westville Tigers (Westville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. Villa Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Calhoun (Hardin, IL).
