Basketball Recap: Crandall Find Success

Crandall won the last time they faced North Mesquite and things went their way on Friday too. The Pirates walked away with a 63-53 win over the Stallions.

Despite the loss, North Mesquite still got an impressive performance from Micah Vaughn, who posted 18 points and six rebounds. The matchup was Vaughn's third in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Andric Clough, who earned six points.

Crandall now has a winning record of 6-5. As for North Mesquite, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Crandall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-65 victory against McKinney North on the 6th. As for North Mesquite, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-25 win against Molina on the 6th.
