Baseball Recap: Marcellus Comes Up Short

Marcellus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights, falling 12-2. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Gaelic Knights from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Marcellus' loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Bishop Ludden, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Marcellus will welcome Skaneateles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lakers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Bishop Ludden, they will head out on the road to face off against Lowville at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday.
