Volleyball Recap: Thoreau Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

After losing to Crownpoint the last time they met, Thoreau decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won four matches in a row.

While Thoreau might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Crownpoint scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-19.

Kayleigh Dodge paced Thoreau's offense, picking up ten kills. Dodge got some help from Keira Begay and her 23 assists. Dodge was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Thoreau's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Crownpoint, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-7.

As of now, neither Thoreau nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
