Soccer Game Preview: West Valley vs. University Prep

West Valley is on a four-game streak of home wins, while University Prep is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Eagles will host the Panthers at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

University Prep better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if West Valley's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when West Valley really gets things going. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand Anderson a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for West Valley, who have now won ten matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Anderson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brooke Webb (2), Logan Carruth, and Cadynce Gippner.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times University Prep and Central Valley had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Panthers put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 6-0 win on Thursday. The result kept University Prep happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 15th.

West Valley's victory bumped their record up to 14-0-2. As for University Prep, their win bumped their record up to 10-8-1.
