There's no place like home for Echols County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Brooks County Trojans on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Echols County's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Brooks County, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, Echols County and Brooks County will both be playing Lanier County the next time they take the field. The Trojans will host the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
