Basketball Recap: Fort Meade Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fort Meade can now relate to. They took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moore Haven Terriers.

Fort Meade lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Mekhi Berrien, who posted 14 points. Berrien has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Omari Russell was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.

Fort Meade's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Moore Haven, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

As of now, neither Fort Meade nor Moore Haven have any future games scheduled.
