Baseball Recap: Massac County Patriots vs. Red Bud Musketeers
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Massac County had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Red Bud Musketeers by a score of 8-3.

Wyatt Jeffords and Alex Hall did most of the damage at the plate: Jeffords went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Hall got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs Jeffords has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Max Elliott, who went 1-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
