LaFayette won against Ridgeland last Friday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Ramblers came out on top against the Heritage Generals by a score of 7-4. For the Ramblers, this counts as revenge for the 11-0 victory the Generals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for LaFayette and bumps their season record up to 12-9. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Heritage, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.

LaFayette will have a chance to go back-to-back against Heritage: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
