Football Recap: Holy Family Catholic Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Annandale, Holy Family Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Watertown-Mayer Royals 30-13. The Fire have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

Holy Family Catholic's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.0 points over those games. As for Watertown-Mayer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Family Catholic will square off against Dassel-Cokato at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Watertown-Mayer, they will face off against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
