Soccer Game Preview: Davis Sr. vs. Del Oro

The Davis Sr. Blue Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Del Oro Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Davis Sr.'s defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Whitney with a sharp 3-0 victory. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Wildcats are ranked 421st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Del Oro's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They and Oak Ridge finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Golden Eagles happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 3, 2024.

Del Oro's draw makes their record 8-1-3 this season. As for Davis Sr., their win bumped their record up to 6-3-3.
