Softball Recap: Gehlen Catholic Takes a Loss

Gehlen Catholic was the 7-4 winner over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Jays fell 8-5 to the Hawks on Wednesday.

Gehlen Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-9 record this season.

Gehlen Catholic has already played their next contest, a 7-4 win against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union on the 20th. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 19-15 defeat against West Sioux on the 20th.
