Soccer Game Preview: Cherokee vs. Osborne

Cherokee is 0-3 against Osborne since February of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Warriors will head out to take on the Cardinals at 8:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Cherokee and Woodstock had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Warriors fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Cherokee couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Osborne's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Campbell by a score of 4-3.

Cherokee's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Osborne, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Cherokee suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Osborne in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Warriors were down 3-0.
