Baseball Game Preview: Buford Wolves vs. Mountain View Bears + Official Tickets

For the first time this season, Buford will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will face off against the Mountain View Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Buford has three straight victories, Mountain View has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Buford saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against McEachern by a score of 4-1.

Meanwhile, Mountain View lost 15-5 to Foundation Academy on Saturday.

Sean Forbes was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs. Reggie Aldridge also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Buford's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Buford couldn't quite get it done against Mountain View in their previous meeting back in February of 2025 as they fell 7-4. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
